| Jerry R. Miller, AIA is an Associate Principal with the Firm and has over 32 years of experience as an architect, primarily in the design of educational facilities. He has served as acting Campus Architect for Florida State University, Research Architect for the Florida Department of Education, and as a practicing architect for numerous projects. He was also a member of the project team that served as consulting architects to the Hillsborough County School Board during the implementation of its $105 million dollar capital outlay program. He has been responsible for all phases of educational facility projects, from design, through construction documents and contract administration and has been the client contact person for over 25 educational facility projects.
Major projects for which Mr. Miller has been responsible include Manatee High School additions, Sea Breeze Elementry School renovations, East Bay High School Renovations, Eisenhower Middle School, Bay Point Elementary School and Bay Point High School. Other projects in which Mr. Miller has been responsible prior to joining Holmes Hepner and Associates Architects include J. Wayne Reitz Union Addition and Renovations (CRC addition, Food Court, Retail, etc.), J. Wayne Reitz Union Firecode & Asbestos Corrections (renovations to the Ballroom & Theater were added to this project), J. Wayne Reitz Union Gameroom Addition, Entomology-Nematology Building, Florida Gym Conversion, and Recreational Sports Facility at the University of Florida, Housing Renovations at USF, Canella Elementary School, Lockhart Elementary School, Orange Grove Magnet Middle School, Lake Magdalene Elementary School Renovations (all in Hillsborough County), Bayshore High School, Anclote Elementary Additions, Land O' Lakes High School Additions, and Pasco Middle School Additions (Pasco County). He has also been responsible for the design of numerous governmental and institutional facilities, including courthouses, jails, hospitals, banks, and similar projects. |
